Gran Turismo 7 is being updated to version 1.20 today with the update bringing four new cars, three new layouts to Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya, and two extra menus in the Café. The four cars that come as part of this update for Gran Turismo 7 are the McLaren MP4/4 ’88, Pontiac GTO ‘The Judge’ ’69, Porsche Cayman GT4 ’16, and the De Tomaso Mangusta (Christian Dior). You can see the first three of them in the trailer below.
The three circuit layouts for Circuit de Barcelona- Catalunya are as follows. First you have the No Chicane layout. With this layout the final corner of the circuit has been removed allowing for a high speed run to the finish. The National Layout is next on the list with the final straight from the GP layout being transformed into a hairpin turn making the track smaller and more compact with the track cutting through Sector 1 and half of Sector 2. The final layout is the Rallycross Layout which mixes sector 3 of the track with infield areas to create a mix of paved and unpaved track. The extra menu books in Cafe are the ,Abarth’ Collection which opens at Collector Level 27, and the‘Gr.2 Racing Cars’ Collection which opens at Collector Level 38.
In our review for Gran Turismo 7, Stefan wrote, “Gran Turismo 7 takes everything that was excellent about GT Sport’s fantastic multiplayer, high fidelity cars and circuits and innovative Scapes mode, and builds up a more traditional GT experience around it. It’s got its own quirky new ideas which will likely be passing diversions to most, but at its core, this is the Gran Turismo you know and love. Broad and accessible, but with depth, nuance and competitive racing for those keen to find it.”
