— David Glick left his position as chief technology officer of on-demand warehousing startup Flexe. Glick spent nearly four years at Flexe, which raised $119 million million in July, pushing its valuation past $1 billion.
In a LinkedIn post, Glick said that he was “passing the torch” to Anthony Girolamo, Flexe senior vice president of engineering. Glick said he will take January off and will share his next move after that.
Prior to Flexe, Glick spent almost two decades at Amazon and was VP of Amazon’s transportation and fulfillment technologies. In 2020 he wrote a guest post for Startup on lessons learned from two decades in the logistics tech industry, titled “Robots aren’t taking over.”
