The Ubisoft Store is rather good at leaking details of games ahead of their announcement and once again it has jumped the gun and revealed The Division Heartland ahead of this Saturday’s Ubisoft Forward event.

The product page for the game was live briefly but was quickly removed but VGC managed to grab some of the details.

Tom Clancy’s The Division Heartland is a free-to-play survival-action multiplayer shooter set in small-town Middle America. Play as one of six agents and select between three classes each match, all with their own perks and skills.

Fight together in 45-player PvEvP Storm Operations against a group of dangerous Rogue agents, an aggressive faction known as the Vultures, all while surviving a lethal virus. Complete PvE missions, gather gear, activate alerts, and prep the battlefield in Excursion Operations

The leak confirms that the game will be free to play and have two game modes with up to 45 players fighting against each other and AI enemies. Four screens were also posted on the Ubisoft store.

The Division: Heartland is in development by Red Storm Entertainment, a studio that has worked on multiple Tom Clancy licenses, and has been charged with plenty of the development of The Division and The Division 2. They are credited with having done a lot of the work to turn the original game around after a tricky launch.

Alain Corre, Executive Director of Ubisoft EMEA said, “In the past 5 years, The Division has grown from a very ambitious project at Ubisoft, to a world-renowned franchise reaching 40 million unique players. We are very proud of what our teams have accomplished with this franchise and the amazing universe they have created. The potential and depth of this enables us to explore new and exciting content that will please loyal long-term fans of The Division and new ones alike.”
