Loop8: Summer of Gods has been confirmed to be releasing in Spring 2023, XSEED Games has revealed. The platforms will be Switch, PC, Xbox One, and PS4 though will also be playable on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. The trailer that has been released introduces the English voiceovers. Japanese voiceover will also be available when Loop8: Summer of Gods is released.
The story of Loop8: Summer of Gods follows protagonist Nini and his schoolmates who are locked in a battle against a demonic force known as the Kegai. The Kegai have almost wiped humanity out making Nini’s battle a kind of last stand. Nini travels to Earth to one of its sanctuaries, having been raised on a failed space station called Hope. Nini has the power of Demon Sight that gives him links to the gods, so he can relive the month over and over to make different choices that could see him and his allies beat the Kegai or see humanity driven to extinction.
