Unheard: Voices of Crime will be coming to consoles in 2023, 505 Games has announced. The reveal was made during Tokyo Game Show, and it was confirmed that the platforms would be Switch, PS4, and Xbox One. It is expected the game will also be playable on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S via backward compatibility. Unheard: Voices of Crime has been developed by NEXT Studios.
Unheard: Voices of Crime was originally released on PC back in 2019, and has received overwhemingly positive reviews on Steam. The description for the game says, “Step through time as you use our device to eavesdrop on conversations from past crime scenes. Every clue, every move, and every motive will be presented in the form of audio. Rather than controlling any one character, you only need listen to their conversations, following along as the story evolves. Use the information you hear to match names to voices and determine how everything (and everyone) is related. Can you discover the truth?”
Players have to listen carefully to everything all the characters are saying and piece together the narrative themselves. There are no clues provided with everything coming down to how a player interprets what they hear. All the characters in Unheard: Voices of Crime have their own stories, but they can cross paths with each other which can give more details into finding out who the culprit is.
