The Division 2’s Season 10 is called Price of Power and it will be starting on Tuesday September 13th, Ubisoft has confirmed. This new season will add additional difficulty modes for Countdown and two Strongholds. There will also be a new season pass and apparel events too. Those who own The
Division 2 Warlords of New York owners or are Ubisoft+ subscribers will get access to Season 10. A stream will be taking place tomorrow, September 12th, at 4 pm CEST / 7 am PST which will give much more details on what to expect.
The outline for The Division 2 gives the details of the latest target. “General Peter Anderson. Hungry for power, and with the True Sons looking for direction after the fall of Antwon Ridgeway, General Anderson sees an opportunity to build a new team and take down The Division. General Anderson is brokering a peace with the Black Tusk and The Division must locate and neutralize Sokolova’s advanced team (Trig, Micro, Chirpy and Lucky) before the merger is complete. Season 10 is the second of three seasons for Year 4 of the Division.”
The last season that was released for The Division 2 was Hidden Alliances. This added new manhunt targets, introduced the eight player Countdown mode where players worked together against the clock to meet objectives, two Apparel events, and the Expertise system which gave a new way to upgrade items by earning points. Ubisoft had been planning to wind down creating content for The Division 2 but there is still a large, dedicated, fanbase. It is good news then that Ubisoft has confirmed that it has begun working on Year 5 content for the game, which will see even more content being added to it.
