God of War Ragnarok release date
The God of War Ragnarök promotional campaign is kicking in to gear with Sony teaming up with Rick and Morty to promote the game. You can watch the short clip below in which the duo travel to the nine realms and discover the Leviathan axe “and other unannounced upgrades”.

Game Informer has a look at the game over the weekend and posted a new video in which shows new moves for the Leviathan Axe and the Blades of Chaos.
Lead combat designer Mihir Sheth said “We tried to create systems you want to engage with that are fun, very playful, lots of different routes. And when we looked at the combat in the last game, we were like, ‘We can push this further; we can find new toys and ways of playing with enemies and strategies.’ That’s been the guiding principle more than anything else.”
Sony have confirmed that God of War Ragnarök will be out this year and will launch on PS4 and PS5 on November 9th. To announce the news they also released a new CGI trailer.
“We’re thrilled be able to share our release date and the brand-new God of War Ragnarök – Father and Son CG Trailer with all the God of War fans who have been eagerly awaiting news,” said Grace Orlady, Senior Community Manager at Santa Monica Studio. “We hope you’ve enjoyed a glimpse at some of the dangers Kratos and Atreus could find themselves up against as Ragnarök approaches.”
Also revealed were the various editions of the game and as you might expect the God of War Ragnarök Standard Edition is just the game.
