Last week, Pokemon Scarlet and Violet got new info showing more of the games – including its new world and gym leaders. One gym leader got had their gender confused, reminding us hentai artists work too fast.
That particular leader was Grusha, the leader of the Glaseado Gym. Fans initially reacted as they usually do when a Pokemon girl shows up on the screen, screaming for the artists (hentai or not) to get to work and make that sweet, sweet fan art.
However, some fans were hit with a weird realization when they found out that Grusha, who is very feminine looking, is actually a boy. Fan artists moved faster than the speed of light, providing both safe for work fanart and lots of not safe for work fanart.
The issue here is that lots of fan artists went above and beyond producing art portraying Grusha as a female – or at least anatomically, when the character is actually male.
I am here to help you, I want to tell you that it is okay to like the new pokemon Gym Leader. The general rule is, we all get confused like now, from some of you it was Astolfo from the FATE franchies, for others it was Felix from Re;Zero. If you’re old school, it was Schrodinger from Kouta Hirano’s HellSing manga.
The general agreement amongst us bros, is that we all get at least one and no one is allowed to bat an eye. So, if your “one” is Grusha from Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, more power to you.
For the rest of us, Grusha is just another example of Pokemon hitting it out of the part with their character designs and ensuring that their games live on forever through the endless amounts of fanart that their characters produce.
Grusha is just one of many new faces that will be appearing in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, and this little hiccup in your heterosexuality should not overshadow how interesting and unique some of these new characters look.
