Puzzles are great fun. It’s quite bossy to explore floating islands. Open-world puzzle game project S: A MysticalQuest was announced today at the Behaviour Beyond stream. I raise an eyebrow as I look behind a broadsheet newspaper and lower my pipe. Watson says, “That looks a lot like Breath of The Wild but with bits and The Witness, and a hint of Myst.” He replies, “Astute observation Wheeler,” but he suggests, “but why not take a look at the trailer?
Canadian devs Lunarch Studios say they’re setting out to make a “mysterious realm of logic and wisdom”. Project S, which I really hope finds a more distinctive title before release day, is set on a load of scenic floating islands full of various puzzles, which you can explore in first-person or third-person, and in solo or multiplayer. Also floating about are the puzzles themselves, little rotating cubes that open out into black-and-white grids, some with letter and number patterns to solve. It seems like there’s environmental puzzles to solve too, and you’ll take to the skies on funky energy wings to navigate between islands.
Today’s Behaviour Below stream was closed with the announcement of Lunarch’s open world puzzle game. Publisher Behaviour Interactive announced the surprise launch and launch of the murderous Hooked on You: A Dead By Daylight dating sim along with their forthcoming apocalyptic base building FPS Meet your Maker. Albert Wesker, Resident Evil’s killer, will also be rushing into Dead by Daylight’s Resi themed ‘Project W” update.
Project S: Although A Mystical Quest has yet to be released beyond general 2023 window yet, Lunarch said that he would share more information in the coming months. When they do, I will let you know.
