Genshin Impact 3.0 is called The Morn a Thousand Roses Brings and it is set to be released on August 24th, it has been confirmed. This is a big update as it will add the fourth nation for players to explore as well as the final element. The new nation is Sumeru which is split into two different biomes, these being desert and rainforest. The final element is Dendro which has different effects depending on if it is reacting with hydro, pyro, or electro.
These reactions are bloom, burning, and catalyze. With bloom Dendro cores are spawned which deal delayed explosive damage. Catalyze adds the quicken effect on enemies meaning they will take increased damage from further electro or dendro attacks. The wildlife in Sumeru can change states if they have Dendro characteristics, depending on if they come into contact with pyro, electro, or hydro.

Dendro characters will be added to the playable roster too in Genshin Impact 3.0. These include the five star Tighnari and the four star Collei, both of whom are archers. Players can acquire Collei by completing the Graven Innocence questline when Genshin Impact 3.0 launches, though this will be for a limited time. The four star electro support character Dori will also be added. Dori wields a claymore and also has healing abilities that restores HP and energy for party members using her elemental burst. Optimisations and features will be added too. These include coloured shadows as well as the tools Boon of the Elder Tree, Ultra Hot Burner Lamp, and Fishing Line Stabilizer. These three tools will help to make fishing, cooking, and wood farming easier to do.
In our review for Genshin Impact, Miguel wrote, “Genshin Impact needs to be played to be believed. This is an addictive open-world adventure with gorgeous art and unique combat…and it’s free! The character designs are sharp and beautiful, while the pastel-style world itself is full of jaw-dropping colour and natural vistas…and it’s free! Sure, there’s the admittedly stingy gacha system, but if you just want an immersive and peaceful world to climb and fly around in for hours, then Genshin Impact is for you.”
