Publisher Warner Bros. Games and developer Player First Games announced the next two characters planned for MultiVersus‘ first season.

MultiVersus is adding both DC Comics magical antihero Black Adam and Stripe, the leader of the Gremlins from the iconic film franchise. Both characters will be released “in the comin months” as part of Season 1, likely after Rick Sanchez from Rick & Morty, who launches a bit after Morty (due out on August 23rd).

Season 1 for the crossover brawler includes a host of new content for the base roster as well – like the LeBron James I’m Freakin’ Robin (Space Jam: A New Legacy) character variant, a premium option featuring the Taz Tune Squad ’96 (Space Jam) variant, Harley Task Force X (The Suicide Squad) variant, and more.

In case you missed it, we did a write up on the original closed alpha with impressions on all currently announced fighters – you can find our preview here.

MultiVersus is currently in open beta across Windows PC (via Steam), PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.
